Project Dreamhouse isn’t searching for a one-size-fits-all solution. It is about building a community of people with expertise in different skills. We aren’t here to guide users step-by-step. We want to bring the people together. Let them give and receive help to each other.
I encourage you to get to know the people who hang on the irc channel. This is the foundation of the whole project.
What Project Dreamhouse isn’t
- a hit-and-run help site: You probably won’t get the information you want on your first visits. By being nice and getting to know people you’ll gain their respect and friendship.
- a “how to build you own house” guide: we offer pieces of information and knowledge from our members. We are focused on building things yourself for your whole home. That includes everything from taking out the thrash to gardening to laying a foundation for you house.
- a place for building “regular”: We are interested in creating long-lasting homes that work. In my opinion many modern houses suck. That’s why I created this site. To build something different
